Pycube at AAMI 2024: Highlights and Key Takeaways
We can't believe it's already been a week since one of the biggest conference events of the year! From presentations to happy hour, we had a successful show and are here to provide you with a full recap. So if you missed it, don't worry! We got your back, just like our solutions.
Our booth was a hub of activity with two live demo stations showcasing our Asset Protection and Pycube AI Assistant solutions. Our brightest employees ran the stations, each commenting on the event's success.
"We received a lot of validation on our products and solutions, with significant interest in our Asset Location's Narrow Scanning option. Our precision mode can find specific assets compared to RTLS that can only narrow down to the room level," noted Lawrence, our Product Manager. Monalisa, our AI Data Engineer/Analyst added, "I was particularly pleased to see how well people resonated with our explanation of the asset lifecycle and the AI services we offer. Biomedical professionals appreciated the AI troubleshooting and knowledge assistant, while nursing staff saw the potential for significant time savings and effort reduction with our contract-related use case. Management showed interest in both the lifecycle of assets and the various phases where AI can be useful."
Saturday was our biggest day by far, and we're sure that our happy hour had nothing to do with those numbers! While people were excited to have a drink, they were equally enthusiastic about talking to our team members to learn about our solutions and how we could potentially help their facilities.
On Sunday, our Chief Product Officer (CPO), Bill Howden, delivered a presentation on the Intelligent Location System using AI and RFID for Asset Tracking. The presentation was a resounding success, with Bill effectively conveying how Pycube is addressing healthcare challenges through technology. His talk was accessible to people from various industry backgrounds, allowing them to grasp the essence of our technology and services. The attendees showed great interest in learning more about our RFID and AI solutions, engaging thoroughly throughout the presentation and asking numerous questions before we announced the winner of our live giveaway, a member of Centra Health Inc! Each member in the audience came with a postcard they picked up when they visited our booth, equipped with an RFID tag. At the end of Bill's presentation, we used our narrow scanning option to find the randomly chosen RFID tag within the crowd and the winner received an AirTag.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us at AAMI and a warm welcome to anyone new we might've met. This year, we gained invaluable insights and had numerous meaningful interactions with attendees, learning so much from each conversation. We're looking forward to continuing these discussions and exploring new opportunities together. If you missed us, please reach out—we'd love to get to know you!
